Desiderio Plus

Hello Vapor Clean,
My husband and I own a daycare center in here in FL. This year we have become a little more over crowded in our building and with thirty plus little ones running around, germs are finding there way about. So we decided to buy this machine to sanitize all of our toys, tables, chairs, sleeping mats, play rugs you name it. This has been one of our best investments! We also took pictures of us steaming and sanitizing our center and posted them on our website. Since then we have had more business and plan on expanding This has been a very exciting year for us and we thought you should know, we are also considering purchasing another one when we transfer to a bigger building. I give this a A+++++++++++ and recommend it to anyone!

I did a whale of a lot of searching before settling on the Vapor Clean product and for sure there is a lot of totally misleading advertising hype out there. I am very pleased with the unit thus far. One outflit plainly stated you could not have vacuum and vapor from the same unit running on standard 110 house current. Obviously your unit disproves that claim. My principal goal was finding something which would clean some relatively new blue carpeting which seems to show dirt very readily. My grandson spilled chocolate milk on it and that stain had remained over a year. I had tried all sorts of things including the rental units from stores; all were miserable failures. It took some effort, but Vapor Clean did get the carpeting clean and looking good again. Since then I have used your unit for all sorts of things. Yesterday I cleaned off mold and mildew which had set in on the vinyl siding of our home. It did an OK job on that. I simply love to use it to clean our vinyl flooring in the kitchen. Used to be an awful chore which never seemed to come out right.

Hi, I’ve really enjoyed the product and use it often for both regular and odd jobs. While I didn’t purchase the machine for window cleaning I was amazed at how well it cleans windows! I’ve also used it on floors, carpets, furniture, auto interiors and bathroom surfaces. I’ve had no problems with the machine at all — it just works!

After receiving my Desiderio Plus, following the simple instruction in preparation for using this new equipment, I learned a thing or two about not only the machine but about my self. You see, I had used heated wet extraction steam cleaners in the past. Therefore, I thought I could simple pre-spray an area targeted to be cleaned, turn on the steam and vacuum and presto, with a back and forth motion, just as quick as I could move back and forth the stains in the carpet or furniture item I was cleaning would be done. Well, this would have been true, if only my own preconceived notions about how this device works and my knowledge of other types of cleaning devices did not get in the way. When the machine did not work as I had preconceived it should I called an associate of mine to tell him about the Desiderio Plus, whom encouraged me to bring the device with me the next time I saw him, for he wanted to see it. And what happened next gave me a whole new outlook in operating this kind of cleaning machine.

You see, the key to using the vapor clean style machine is in the steam, just like the advertisements indicate. In that, by simply applying the steam and wiping the area to be cleaned with a microfiber cloth, grime can be removed from a surface areas and items to be cleaned. Also, on tougher, older stains, by going over the area with the steam, or repeating the process a time or two, the same result can be achieved with less time and effort with a moderate back and forth motion, instead of overworking oneself by being in a hurry. Give the machine a few seconds to work with each pass that you make. For in many instances you may only need to use water; i.e. just the steam. However, if the item you are cleaning hasn’t been cleaned in say a long while, or is heavily soiled, here are a couple of sure methods you can try that have proved to reduce the time it takes to get heavy stains out of an item or carpet which I found to be most productive.

By pretreating the area to be cleaned first with Carpet Details, waiting about a minute for the solution to sink into the fabric of furniture or carpeting, whichever you are cleaning,and perhaps scrubbing lightly with a non-abrasive brush, making certain not to scratch the fabric by applying too much pressure, apply the steam to that area in a back and forth movement to an area about 1 x 1, then vacuum that area while depressing the steam button and the end result of a clean surface area is achieved. Proof of determining whether or not the method needs to be repeated can be easily checked by next wiping with a microfiber cloth over the area to ensure all of the dirt or grime has been removed. If more carpet cleaner, or spotter solution needs to be added, simply inject the item by turning on the chemical side of your Desiderio with steam depressed and the vacuum on. And in this capacity, again check the area; those microfiber cloths work very well in picking up any loose grime left still on the fabric.

Once I got the hang of this machine and the method needed to get the job done quickly, I felt confident about my purchase. Moreover, my Desiderio has taken my business to many places and produced the results desired by my customers, some of whom have now become repeat customers.

Other helpful tips new owners should become familiar with involve how to care for your new device. Don’t procrastinate in asking about how often your device should be descaled and how to properly care for your device once you begin to use your machine. Be forthcoming about how you often you use your machine as well as what to do should you or someone working for you accidentially puts the wrong solution into your cleaning device while in continuous use.
